ice cream assassin (slang term for expensive ice cream) / 雪糕刺客 / (xuěɡāo cìkè) 

A: How about we go buy some ice cream to cool off?

我们去买个雪糕解解暑吧?

(wǒmén qù mǎiɡè xuěɡāo jiějiěshǔ bā?)

B: I'd rather stick to the drinking water, I'm afraid of running into an "ice cream assassin." 

我还是喝杯水吧,我害怕碰见"雪糕刺客"。

(wǒ háishì hēbēi shuǐ bā, wǒ hàipà pènɡjiàn "xuěɡāo cìkè".)

A: What's an ice cream assassin? I never heard of that. 

什么是雪糕刺客呢?我从来没听说过。

(shénme shì xuěɡāo cìkè ne? wǒ cónɡlái méi tīnɡshuō ɡuò.)

B: Ice cream assassin is a current popular term. It refers to ice cream that looks very ordinary, but after you understand how costly the price is the surprise is alike being stabbed by a sword. 

雪糕刺客是现在流行的一种说法。它指那些看起来很普通的雪糕,但当你了解到它们昂贵的价格后会十分震惊,像是被剑刺中了一样。

A: I think this type of sky-high priced ice cream phenomenon should be regulated.

B: Right now, a lot of market regulators have started to investigate supermarkets and the like to see whether or not they are following the tag price or committing price fraud.
