Recently, a tourist playing on the beach near Wangfu Cliff in Huludao, Northeast China's Liaoning Province, was trapped by the rising tide as he has no knowledge of tide changes. Traveling alone and unable to swim, he had to hang on to the buoy of a fishing net floating near him. Luckily, the floating buoy saved his life.

He stayed in the sea for more than an hour until people came to watch the sunrise and found him.

Police who arrived on the scene found that the trapped man was about 400 meters away from the shore. After being rescued, the man found that his identification card and bag had been lost. "Nature sometimes brings us gifts and beautiful sights, but with them also comes danger," one netizen said on Weibo, Chinese Twitter-like social media platform.
