Photo exhibition brings charm of China's province to Bulgaria

With the support of Sofia Municipality, a photo exhibition titled "Beautiful Jiangxi, Showing Her Charm to the World" opened here on Monday on the Lovers' Bridge near the National Palace of Culture.

The two-week event, organized by the Chinese Embassy in Bulgaria and the Foreign Affairs Office of Jiangxi Province, features 60 posters with information and photos about the ecology, culture, history, economy and modern life of east China's Jiangxi province.

"We hope that through this photo exhibition, people can have a better understanding of Jiangxi," said the organizers.

"They are really beautiful photos," said Ana, a 22-year-old from Spain, taking look at a photo of the International Tent Festival at the Wugongshan Mountain. She said that she wants to go there camping one day.

Citing the exhibition as "magnificent", Totyu Todorov, a 72-year-old Bulgarian, said the exhibition was "very inspiring."

"One wants to immediately take his backpack and go to the Jiangxi province," Todorov added.
