A blogger got doxxed and threatened by a graffiti group after making a post condemning the graffiti they drew at an Instagram-worthy location on social media platform. Local government departments said they are investigating the incident.

The blogger Erdai (pseudonym) posted photos of graffiti painted on the walls of "the window of Dali," an internet-famous tourist spot in Luwo Mountain relics in Dali of Southwest China's Yunnan Province where visitors can stand by the wall and enjoy the scenery of Erhai Lake through a window.

Erdai accused the graffiti of spoiling the scenery's natural beauty and public environment on popular Chinese Instagram-like lifestyle-sharing platform Xiaohongshu, and then received attacks from the graffiti group who have doxxed her and found out her name and place of work.

Erdai said she had turned to the police for protection after getting threatened by the group. Local tourist department said they have learned about the graffiti drawn on "the window of Dali" and are dealing with the incident. Local police station is also investigating the case. The graffiti drawn on the walls of Luwo Mountain relics have now been covered with white paint by spot staffers.
