'As If There is a Glimmer of Light' - art exhibition

This exhibition in Shanghai is a solo show for young Chinese artist Cai Qianqian. The exhibition is being held as part of the Fledging Artists project, which is comprised of a series of solo exhibitions of young artists presented by the Shanghai Himalayas Museum.

The aim of the project is to support the development of young artists and provide a stable platform for young artists to display their works.

This exhibition showcases the artworks Cai has created over the past three years, including color works on paper, installation works and videos.

The use of different mediums also summarizes the different stages of Cai's art career, from the time she studied fine brushwork paintings in college in China to the years she explored today's contemporary art forms while studying in the UK.

When creating, Cai pursues a hazy sense of light, which is different from traditional fine brush painting. She mixes oranges and pinks over the base color of turquoise, adding a sense of light to her paintings, which echoes the title of the exhibition As If There is a Glimmer of Light.
