An art exhibition is being held in Beijing to celebrate the upcoming 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China (CPC) at the city's Pan Tianhong Cultural Creative Park.

These works embody how artists see the revitalization of rural areas and the creation of improved urban cultural and social landscapes.

Calligraphy works referencing traditional Chinese poems are some of the biggest highlights at the exhibition.  More than 60 calligraphy works chosen from a total of 296 art pitches are now on display for visitors to enjoy.

With passion and poetic brushworks, creators praise the new achievements of socialist modernization in China and the CPC's leadership of people from all the country's ethnic groups.

The exhibition was organized by the Beijing Federation of Literary and Art Circles, the Beijing China-South Korea Painting and Calligraphy Association and other cultural organizations such as the Literary Federation of the Fangshan district. More than 100 visitors celebrated the event after its opening ceremony on September 18.

The exhibition is scheduled to end on October 25.
