Recently, a 22-year-old man from Chengdu, Southwest China's Sichuan Province, attracted a lot of attention from netizens for his cool photos as a model. The man, surnamed Luo, had his right leg amputated after a car accident in 2004 and has been living with a prosthetic leg ever since.
At college, Luo was introduced to the fashion modeling industry through social media platforms.
After graduation, he went to work in a bank, but he did not give up his interest of modeling.
Luo then posted pictures of himself as a model online, and netizens were moved by his cool photos and positive attitude toward life.
"Since the accident, many people around me have labeled me as a 'disabled' man, but I have never felt that I am different from others," Luo told the reporters. "Instead, I will work harder to make my life more meaningful."
"Medical developments have given many people a new life. I am moved by his courage," one netizen said.
"There must be his family behind him who love him very much. I hope his life will be better, and he can persist in his beloved modeling career," said another.
