Recently, a resident surnamed Liu, found a small white animal in a grass cluster of the roadside in Nanjing, East China's Jiangsu Province, which looked like a fox. Liu sent it to a local police station. After contacting experts, the police confirmed that it is an Arctic fox.

According to Liu, the fox was very fierce in the grass. "It bit me, and my skin hurt a little, but that is fine," Liu told the police. Yet the fox looked intimidated after being picked up by the police.

"Its fur was tidy and white, which seemed to be taken care of regularly," said police. "Our preliminary guess is that the fox was domestically raised." In China, the Arctic fox is a state-protected animal. Individuals who feed it must go to the forestry department to apply for the relevant breeding certificate.

Since the arctic fox is not suitable for release, the police contacted several departments and chose the most suitable new home for it — Nanjing Sea World. They hope the fox can live a good life there.

Netizens joked that the police found a job for the fox, and they wanted to go to the Sea World to visit it one day.
