Playing prize-winning quizzes, writing the Chinese character "Fu", doing paper-cutting and other activities, Tunisian students experienced the joys of the Chinese New Year at an event held in a bookstore in the Tunisian capital on Friday.

The event is part of the 13th Spring Festival Joint Exhibition of Chinese Books in Global Overseas Chinese Bookstores, which is being held in 85 physical bookstores in 27 countries and regions.

Most of the participants were students majoring in Chinese from the Higher Language Institute of the University of Carthage in Tunisia.
