Syrians donate blood to assist in rescue efforts following deadly quake

In the wake of a massive earthquake which has killed over 3,500 people so far in the war-torn Syria, many Syrians have mobilized to assist in the rescue efforts.

In the Syrian capital of Damascus, local residents, men and woman, have continued to flock to the blood donation centers in recent days to donate blood urgently needed to help save the lives of the victims injured in the deadly quake.
