Recently, a farmer from Yichang, Central China's Hubei Province, posted a video online in search of help from fungus experts about the problem of mushroom cultivation. A netizen then noticed the video and helped introduce the original poster to experts from the local department. Interestingly, three days after the expert visited the farmer's planting base, and pointed out the existing problems in his cultivation, the mushrooms did start to grow one after another.

Wang started his own business learning to grow mushrooms after he left the army.

But due to a lack of experience, his mushrooms never grew. The day after the video was posted, Wang successfully got in touch with Liu Shiling, an expert at the local Academy of Agricultural Sciences with the help of netizens.

"I was just giving it a try, and thanks to the power of Chinese netizens, I finally got help," Wang said with a big smile.

Experts say the reason why mushrooms do not grow is because of the moisture caused by the film. According to the advice from the experts to punch holes into the film, the farmer gradually mastered the skill of mushroom cultivation. The story has brought a relief of sorts to netizens keeping up with the farmer's cultivation attempts, with one saying: "That is the kind of expert that people need."
