On International Women's Day, the story of He Guanghua from East China's Jiangsu Province, who devoted herself to cable construction, has touched many netizens.

To protect the lamps belonging to a number of families, she spends time in the underground cable channel all year round and leads the team to overcome the technical problems of high-voltage cable joints. He has successively obtained more than 70 national patents and developed the world's first non-destructive construction technology of high-drop and high-voltage cable line, filling the technical gap in the world. He has been fond of scientific research and innovation since she was a child.

"My father is an electrical engineer. Influenced by him, I have been learning how to fix cables since childhood," He said. "Only those who have experienced the repair work on site time after time will know how important electricity is to our people."
