The Dunhuang Textual Research Institute is expanding its online database for the Dunhuang ancient manuscripts that were unearthed in the Mogao Caves in 1900.

The database already contains 685 e-documents, with 1,000 more Dunhuang manuscripts written in Chinese and Tibetan expected to be added to the database in 2023, according to Zhao Xiaoxing, chief of the institute. The latest data shows that the number of all the documents could reach 70,000.

A famous UNESCO World Heritage Site, the Mogao Caves are a treasure house of Buddhist art covering murals, paintings and texts.

This is not about a show's star lineup or how big a budget a show has, the crux comes down to the understanding of what makes a good realist TV show.

When it comes to the creation of realist TV dramas, characterization is very important.

Creating full-bodied characters with realistic attitudes is the deciding element for the success or failure of works and whether they will bring in audiences.
