Amid world soccer megastar Lionel Messi's trip to China, some baseless and even obviously fake news stories, such as "Messi gives you a thumbs-up," "300,000 yuan for a meal, toast and photo with Messi" have been eagerly shared and circulated by numerous social media platforms.

Fabricating comments supposedly from Messi about airport staff caters to the public's curiosity about the star's words and actions, while claims of Messi being denied entry and fabricating absurd conversations even raise suspicions of malicious manipulation and incitement of public sentiment. Spreading rumors and fabrications about popular figures can backfire quickly. Self-media platforms relying on spreading rumors and fabricating stories to ride Messi's popularity will ultimately have no chance of success.

The gradually recovering live performance market has not only left fans wanting but has also become a carnival for ticket scalpers. Official ticket platforms sell out instantly but scalpers have an abundant supply of tickets to resell at exorbitant prices.

Event organizers have implemented mandatory real-name registration to combat scalping and have restricted ticket refunds and secondary transfers. However, the measures designed to crack down on scalpers have inconvenienced consumers. While it is understandable to detest scalpers who disrupt ticket sales, the negative consequences resulting from limiting scalpers should not be borne by consumers.

The sale of products that are about to expire through "leftover blind boxes" can reduce food waste and improve the efficiency of food utilization. If it is implemented successfully in the food industry, it can be expanded to other sectors to reduce the waste of nearly expired goods and enhance the overall efficiency of consumption. The key aspect is that food safety must always take priority.

Effective regulation lies in eliminating problems and risks at the earliest stage. Therefore, market regulatory authorities must intervene early, establish policies and set standards to ensure the healthy and regulated development of this model.
