Overseas technology companies see strong growth in China’s software market

Overseas tech companies are witnessing strong growth in China's software market, and they are seeing rising demand from both state owned and private Chinese companies. 

CK Goh, sales VP of China Customer Role Experience from Dassault Systèmes made remarks during a recent meeting that in the past two or three years, the company has found that their application use in state-owned enterprises has not declined, but has actually increased. 

He added that the company in China still has a lot of room in the software sector, and that they are not only helping private enterprises, state-owned enterprises and foreign enterprises with direct sales, but also helping them understand the importance of channel operations, after-sales service, business models and channel management, he said. 

Recently, industrial software brand SOLIDWORKS under Dassault Systèmes launched the latest version, SOLIDWORKS 2024, aiming to speed up product development process for improved work efficiency.

As a sub-brand under Dassault Systèmes, SOLIDWORKS focuses on mechanical design. It will further enhance data management and make the newly released version into its 3D modeling solution platform.

The brand said that it hopes to automate the design process as much as possible, and we have been promoting the development of cloud technology so that the designs of all products and parts can be stored in the cloud. When the database becomes larger, the firm can mine information and provide suggestions through AI to enable engineers be more efficient throughout the design process.

Market watchers said that with the rapid development of cloud computing and artificial intelligence that promotes the integration of design, production, management and other processes, the market has set increasingly higher performance requirements for industrial software.
