The Chinese-Russian Children's New Year celebration recently concluded at the Russian Embassy in Beijing. The event brought together nearly 50 children aged four to six from both China and Russia to experience the festive and harmonious atmosphere of the New Year.

At the beginning of the event, teachers from the Russian Embassy's kindergarten narrated the Russian New Year stories of the Frosty Old Man and Snow Maiden to the children. The arrival of "Santa Claus" further excited the children in attendance. Following the dance, children from the kindergarten performed the song Metelitsa, the dance Cat Dancing with Bells, and recited poems.

After the games, children from both countries handcrafted their own cards, bringing these heartfelt blessings to their families, who were also able to share the experience of Russian New Year culture. The inaugural Chinese-Russian Children's New Year celebration event built a bridge of friendship through its unique format, providing children from both countries with a cross-cultural and delightful experience.

The event not only brought Chinese and Russian children closer but also promoted cultural exchanges, injecting more vitality into the continuation of the friendly relations between China and Russia.
