A delegation of four including Tina Karlberg, the counselor for science and innovation, and Tomas Dahlman, the agricultural counselor, from the Swedish Embassy in China visited an agricultural center in suburb Beijing, to explore the prospects of cooperation between Sweden and China in green agriculture.

They were invited to the Jingwa Center, an agricultural scientific and technological innovation hub in Beijing on February 27.

The visit aimed not only to further understand the innovative practices in agricultural technology but also to explore the potential and direction of cooperation between Sweden and China in smart agriculture, green circular agriculture, and related industries.

Members of the delegation gained in-depth insights into the agricultural modernization and highly praised the area's investment and achievements in agricultural technological innovation. They stated that the application of these technologies not only enhances the efficiency and quality of agricultural production but also provides new ideas and directions for the sustainable development of global agriculture.

During a symposium of the visit, Wang Wei, executive director of the Research Department at the Jingwa Center, emphasized the center's active exploration of low-carbon emission reduction models tailored to China's national conditions.

This visit and exchange activity not only deepened the understanding and awareness of the Swedish Embassy in China about the agricultural technological innovation and green circular agriculture development, but also laid a solid foundation for future cooperation between the two sides.
