Inspired by Beijing's fast development in autonomous driving in Yizhuang, the original musical Dream Becomes Reality will start its national tour after its debut in late 2022. 

After months of preparation and improvement, the musical held a rehearsal on Monday before its April performance at Beijing's Tianqiao Performing Arts Center and the Shanghai Majestic Theatre.   

Taking the construction of a high-level autonomous driving demonstration zone in the Beijing Economic and Technological Development Zone as its setting, the musical produced by the Beijing Performing Arts Group depicts the rapid growth and dreams of the pioneers in China's science and technology industry, and demonstrates how industrial workers overcome the ups and downs of life. 

"There is no last time, only one more time" is a portrayal of the spirit of the lead role Hao Jie in the play and also a true portrayal of the creative process of the team behind the play. 

For this tour version, the creative team has spent a year to polish and upgrade the script, character lines, music, dance, lighting and stage design.

The show will also tour to Shenzhen, Guangdong Province, Tianjin and Hebei Province.
