The US Virtual Embassy in Iran is insisting that Americans leave the Middle Eastern country amid conflicts in the region after a partial reopening of its airspace. This comes after a ceasefire agreement between Iran and Israel to end the nearly two-week conflict, Fox News reported Saturday local time.

Because of the limitations of consular support in Iran, the embassy said it does not anticipate that withdrawal from Iran will be provided with direct assistance from the US government. US citizens who plan to leave Iran must use the available facilities to leave the country, it said.

Meanwhile, Emirates, the United Arab Emirates' flagship carrier, has canceled all fights to and from Iran's capital Tehran until July 5 due to the "regional situation," the company announced Saturday.

The company said that customers connecting through Dubai with final destinations in Iran "will not be accepted for travel at their point of origin until further notice."

US President Donald Trump has said he would "absolutely" consider bombing Iran again. At a White House press briefing, he said he would "without question" attack the country if intelligence concluded Iran could enrich uranium to concerning levels, BBC reported.

Also on Saturday, huge crowds have gathered in the Iranian capital Tehran for a state funeral of the top Iranian military commanders, nuclear scientists and civilians killed in Israeli airstrikes, CNN reported.

Ali Shamkhani, a close aide to Iran's Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei, was reported dead by Israel and by Iranian media following Israel's unprecedented strikes on Iran on June 13. Iranian media later reported Shamkhani was still alive, publishing a message to Khamenei reportedly from Shamkhani which read "I am alive and ready to sacrifice myself," according to CNN.
