When asked to comment on a Reuters report citing a source which said that "the US told GE Aerospace on Thursday that it can restart jet engine shipments to China's COMAC," Foreign Ministry spokesperson Mao Ning told a press briefing on Friday, "I would refer you to China's Ministry of Commerce for specifics on this matter. What I can say is that we hope the US will work with China to maintain the healthy and stable development of bilateral economic and trade relations."
