China Coast Guard (CCG) spokesperson Liu Dejun stated on Friday that CCG vessels, acting in accordance with the law, took necessary control measures against a Japanese fishing boat that illegally entered China's territorial waters near Chiwei Yu on Wednesday and issued a warning for it to leave. 

Liu reiterated that DiaoyuDao and its affiliated islands are China's inherent territory, urging the Japanese side to immediately stop all illegal activities in these waters. 

He emphasized that the CCG will continue to carry out rights protection and law enforcement operations in waters under China's jurisdiction to safeguard national territorial sovereignty and maritime rights and interests.
