In response to a media inquiry regarding cooperation matters concerning the Port of Darwin in Australia, Chinese FM spokesperson Guo Jiakun said on Monday that the Chinese company acquired the lease of Port Darwin through market means.
The company's lawful rights and interests should be fully protected, Guo said.
