In response to comments saying that the 2025 World Humanoid Robot Games in Beijing last week, which drew international robot teams from 15 countries, showcased China's competitiveness and influence in AI and robotics, and that China is seizing the lead in the US-China tech competition, Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson Mao Ning said on Tuesday that humanoid robots are moving from labs to daily life.

Recent events held by China, including the World Artificial Intelligence Conference, the World Robot Conference, and the Humanoid Robot Games, showcased innovative achievements in the fields of AI and robotics, and also built a platform for the world to exchange cutting-edge technologies and engage in dialogue on future industries, Mao said.

"China has always believed that only through openness and cooperation can science and technology innovate and mankind progress," Mao said, adding that China is ready to strengthen exchanges and cooperation with all countries so that the fruits of sci-tech innovation can empower global development and modernization.
