On Tuesday, leaders of multiple countries arrived in Beijing to attend the commemoration of the 80th anniversary of the victory in the Chinese People's War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression and the World Anti-Fascist War, according to CCTV.
They include Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic, President of the Republic of the Congo Denis Sassou Nguesso, Min Aung Hlaing, acting president of Myanmar, Kyrgyz President Sadyr Japarov, and Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan. Some of them arrived by the high-speed train, CCTV reported.
According to the Xinhua News Agency, at the invitation of Chinese President Xi Jinping, 26 foreign leaders will attend China's V-Day commemorations in Beijing, Assistant Foreign Minister Hong Lei announced last week.
