In response to media inquiries regarding the reported extension of the deadline for the TikTok ban by US President Trump and expectations for a call between Chinese and US leaders, Foreign Ministry spokesperson Lin Jian said on Wednesday, "With regard to the high-level interactions between both sides, I would like to emphasize that head-of-state diplomacy plays an irreplaceable strategic role in China-US relations. As for the specific issues raised, I currently have no information to provide." 

Lin also added that the relevant Chinese authorities have already provided information on TikTok-related issues.
