When asked for a comment on reports that several major Hollywood studios, including Disney and Universal Pictures, had filed a federal lawsuit in the US against a Chinese AI company, accusing it of large-scale copyright infringement, Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson Lin Jian said on Wednesday that he was not aware of the specific case mentioned. 

Lin stressed that China has always attached great importance to intellectual property (IP) protection and fulfills its international obligations in accordance with law and regulations. "Regarding this specific matter, I'd refer you to competent Chinese authorities," Lin added.
