Asked whether the Chinese and US leaders will meet during APEC and more details about the framework consensus on TikTok, after US President Donald Trump claimed that he would meet with the Chinese leader during the upcoming APEC meeting and push for a TikTok deal, Chinese Foreign Ministry's spokesperson Guo Jiakun said on Monday that head-of-state diplomacy has played an irreplaceable role in providing strategic guidance in China-US relations, and the Chinese and US heads of state maintain close communication and exchanges. 

"Regarding the specific question you asked, China and the US are in communication. I currently have no information to provide," Guo said.
