When asked to comment on the reported statement by South Korea that it is negotiating with China to minimize the impact of China's measures on South Korean shipbuilders, marine companies, and subsidiaries connected with the US, as well as on South Korean media report stating that South Korea has indicated such measures might be related to tensions between China and the US, Foreign Ministry spokesperson Lin Jian told the regular press conference on Wednesday that the competent Chinese authorities have already addressed the relevant issues on Tuesday.

We once again urge the US and related companies to respect the facts and multilateral economic and trade rules, abide by the principles of market economy and fair competition, and correct their wrong practices as soon as possible, stopping actions that harm China's interests, Lin said.
