In response to a media inquiry on China-US trade consultations and the claim by US Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent that he expects China to postpone the implementation of its rare-earth exports controls for one year and reconsider the policy and that the US and China may sign a final agreement on TikTok, Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Guo Jiakun on Monday referred to a statement he made to a question earlier at the press conference, in which he said that China had already issued information on the China-US economic and trade consultations.

"Regarding the specific questions you raised about TikTok, I suggest you refer them to the relevant Chinese authorities. China's position on the TikTok issue is consistent," Guo told a press conference.
