China is willing to work with the US to meet each other halfway and jointly implement the consensus reached by the leaders of the two countries and the outcomes of the economic and trade consultations, He Yadong, a spokesperson of China's Ministry of Commerce (MOFCOM), said at a press briefing on Thursday.
Asked whether China will revoke the ban on US company Micron, suspend the inclusion of five companies under Hanwha Ocean in the unreliable entity list, and issue a formal statement to revoke the series of measures implemented since October 9 and what is the comment on the recent US Supreme Court casting doubts on the legality of the Trump administration's tariff policies, the MOFCOM spokesperson said, "Recently, MOFCOM has released information regarding the joint arrangement for economic and trade consultations between China and the US in Kuala Lumpur, outlining the main outcomes and consensus achieved through the consultations."
"It covers areas such as fentanyl, tariffs, law enforcement cooperation, agricultural trade, as well as the US Section 301 measures on China's maritime, logistics and shipbuilding industries," He said, adding that both China and the US have issued official documents regarding tariff adjustments.
