Recently, the Shanghai-made Agibot "A2" robot set off from Suzhou in East China's Jiangsu Province and successfully reached the North Bund in Shanghai after 56 hours. Covering a total distance of 106 kilometers without a single fall, it set a Guinness World Record in one attempt.
During this journey, the robot navigated urban streets in Suzhou and Shanghai, scenic routes, and national and provincial highways. It successfully tackled complex terrains such as tactile paving, bridges, and slopes. Even in low-light, it accurately sensed its surroundings and moved safely, all while strictly adhering to traffic rules -demonstrating remarkable environmental adaptability.
According to Guinness World Records, the entire challenge was tracked using GPS devices.
The attempt ran from the night of November 10 to the early morning of November 13, with the final verified distance confirmed on November 14 as 106.286 kilometers.
