The People's Liberation Army (PLA) Eastern Theater Command on Tuesday afternoon released its fourth theme poster on military drills "Justice Horse, Besiege and Disintegration", which features three J-20 stealth fighter jets flying alongside and two destroyers providing escort, with the PLA Type 075 amphibious assault ship Hainan beneath the horse depicted in the image. The poster indicates that the PLA Southern Theater Command has also deployed forces to participate in the "Justice Mission 2025" joint military drills, while showcasing the PLA's powerful capabilities in joint theater operations, cross-domain mobility, and coordinated combat.

During the military exercises, the PLA Eastern Theater Command released a series of high-impact posters, namely, "Shield of Justice, Smashing Illusion", "Arrow of Justice, Control and Denial", "Justice Hammer, Blockade and Disruption" and "Justice Horse, Besiege and Disintegration". These posters use four traditional instruments of combat—shield, arrow, hammer, and horse—as vivid and concrete symbols to convey key messages about the military operation, carrying striking and profound meaning.

They also demonstrate the PLA Eastern Theater Command's firm resolve, formidable strength, and powerful capabilities to crack down on "Taiwan independence" and deter external interference.

Releasing theme posters for military operations is a consistent practice of the PLA Eastern Theater Command. The four posters released this time have also drawn attention from the public in Taiwan region.

In particular, "Arrow of Justice, Control and Denial", which shows a volley of arrows soaring from the Chinese mainland toward "green pests" on the Taiwan island, has drawn attraction from Taiwan-based media outlets.

In the latest poster, " Justice Horse, Besiege and Disintegration," a dragon-horse stands on the massive deck of a Type 075 amphibious assault ship positioned east of Taiwan Island in the frame.

With its dragon head facing outward and tail pointing inward, the horse hides amphibious armored infantry fighting vehicles in its belly, while shipborne helicopters are parked on the deck.

Three J-20 stealth fighter jets fly alongside the dragon-horse, and two destroyers stand by as escorts, demonstrating the PLA's powerful far-sea systematic combat capability.

The Global Times noticed that the vessel beneath the horse is the PLA Type 075 amphibious assault ship with hull number 31, the Hainan, which is attached to the PLA Southern Theater Command.

This warship combines both landing and assault functions, with ample space in its dock to accommodate various types of landing equipment.

The PLA Eastern Theater Command dispatched task forces of amphibious assault ships to conduct drills in the waters to the east of the Taiwan Island on Tuesday afternoon. The Hainan also appeared in the video "Dragon-Horse Securing Eastern Taiwan."

Experts said that Hainan's appearance in the Eastern Theater Command's exercises demonstrates the PLA's powerful capabilities in joint theater operations, cross-domain mobility, and coordinated combat.
