The Fujian Coast Guard on Tuesday continued to organize task forces to carry out law enforcement patrol in the waters off the east of Taiwan island. The China Coast Guard (CCG), in collaboration with the Global Times, has released a poster titled "Guardianship," demonstrating the richness of the CCG's law enforcement methods and its capability to safeguard peace.
In the poster, the CCG not only showcases multiple types of large-tonnage coast guard ships but also "deploys" its MA60 patrol aircraft and Wing Loong 2 maritime patrol unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV). The concentrated display of these maritime and aerial assets forms a shield of guardianship, underscoring the CCG's enduring capacity to uphold national reunification and cross-Straits peace.
The Global Times learned that all the aforementioned equipment has been utilized in daily law enforcement and patrol operations. Beyond coast guard ships, patrol aircraft and UAVs have become regularized tools for the CCG to safeguard national rights and enforce the law.
Moving forward, the CCG will continue to lawfully exercise control over Taiwan island and its affiliated islands in accordance with the one-China principle. The CCG is both a steadfast defender of cross-Straits peace and stability and a loyal guardian of the well-being of Taiwan compatriots.
