Reuters reported on Wednesday that the online retailer Temu's office in Turkey was raided early on Wednesday.
Turkey's competition authority said an "on-site inspection" was conducted at Temu's office, adding this does not mean a formal investigation was initiated, according to Reuters.
US-listed PDD Holdings, owner of e-commerce site Temu confirmed to the Global Times on Wednesday that Temu's office in Turkey was raided early on Wednesday.
This marks another raid on the company within just over a month, following a similar incident at Temu's Dublin office in Ireland on December 2 last year, the company said.
The company told the Global Times that the incident occurred unexpectedly without any prior notice, but the company will actively cooperate with the official investigation in Turkey and remains confident in its compliance operations in the country.
