When asked to comment on US President Donald Trump's remarks in Davos that he is committed to ensuring that the US will remain "the crypto capital of the world" and that measures must be taken to prevent China from getting the hold of it, Foreign Ministry spokesperson Guo Jiakun said on Thursday that China has always been actively carrying out multilateral and bilateral monetary and financial cooperation, participating in global macroeconomic policy coordination and the formulation of international financial rules.

"You may refer your specific question to the competent Chinese authorities," Guo added.
