Affected by the relevant regional situation, several Chinese airlines, including Air China, China Eastern Airlines, China Southern Airlines and Shenzhen Airlines, have further optimized their involuntary ticket refund and change policies for some Middle East routes to help passengers better arrange their travel plans, China Media Group (CMG) reported on Tuesday.
For tickets with unused travel segments involving travel dates between February 28, 2026 and May 31, 2026, and purchased or reissued before 15:00 on March 10, 2026, eligible passengers may process involuntary changes or refunds for unused segments through the original ticket-purchase channel within the ticket's validity period, CMG reported.
Refunds and the first change will be free of charge. Passengers are advised to check detailed refund and change policies and handle related procedures through the airlines' official channels, according to CMG.
