China dominates GenAI patent landscape

The latest PISA 2025 science results show dominant East Asian performance. B-S-J-Z (China) claims the No.1 spot, followed by Singapore, Japan and Estonia. The US, with 502 points, failed to make the top 10.

China continues to dominate the GenAI patent landscape- with its 2024–2025 published patent families already surpassing its entire 2014–2023 cumulative total. Meanwhile, the US and Japan are accelerating at a fast pace.
