A spokesperson of China's Ministry of Commerce said on Thursday that China does not engage in "microphone diplomacy" or a war of words, refuting European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen's recent claims about a so-called "China Shock 2.0." 

Spokesperson He Yadong said that the Chinese side has taken note of the relevant remarks and that its position and attitude have been consistent and clear.
