Ford to build new plant in Chongqing

Ford Motor Co's China venture, Changan Ford Mazda Automobile Co, Saturday signed an agreement with the Chongqing municipal government to invest $500 million in the construction of an engine plant in the western city, Bloomberg reported Saturday. The plant would double Ford's engine capacity in China.
