8th Shenyang Int'l Auto Expo starts today

The 8th Shenyang International Automobile Industry Expo opened today in Shenyang, capital of Liaoning Provence.

About 62 car brands from home and overseas are taking part in this exposition, including Bentley, BMW, Mercedes-Benz, VW, Land Rover and other Chinese carmakers. Some of the vehicles showcased in this event will be available in the Chinese market later.

Some domestic carmakers are presenting new models at the exposition, such as Dongfeng Motor Co., Ltd's S30 and Brilliance FRV Cross.

On the first of the six-day long show, many carmakers began making their concessional sales. Toyota is offering 500 yuan coupon for every customer, while Kia Carens sales 2,000 yuan cheaper for each car.
