BYD G3

BYD's new model G3 will enter the market in October with a price range of 70,000 yuan to 90,000 yuan. It offers 1.5L and 1.8L engines for customers.

The G3 features a Mitsubishi 4G15S engine and BYD's own 473QB engine for different 1.5L models. The 4G15S engine can reach a maximum of 78kW power and a 134Nm torque; the 473QB engine also provides the G3 a maximum of 79kW power and a 144Nm torque. The 1.8L 483QA engine was also developed by BYD and it can reach a maximum of 90kW power and 160Nm torque.

The 1.5L models have 5-speed manual transmission and 1.8L models feature continuously variable transmission (CVT).
