GAIG to exhibit self-produced passenger car in Nov.

Guangzhou Automobile Industry Group Co, Ltd (GAIG) will bring its self-produced passenger vehicle to the Guangzhou Auto Show in November, a staff member told auto.163.com.

This person also said that a hybrid-powered vehicle will be launched soon after the Guangzhou Auto Show.

The academy of GAIG which has almost 400 employees is in charge of researching and developing vehicles.

GAIG said it hadn't decided when to start selling its first independent brand passenger vehicle.
