Star Light shines with a lower price

Carmaker Chana's Star Light 4500 has dropped its price to an all-time low of 49,800 yuan.

Named the "largest mini-car in history", the fuel-efficent Star Light 4500 is 3.24 meters long, 1.465 meters wide, and 1.35 meters high inside the car. Its volume reaches 4.83 cubic meters, much bigger than other mini-cars. The car has four rows of seats behind the driver's seat and has an engine of 1.3 liters; it has the qualities of a mini van, but at a lower price.

With the "car to the countryside" policy being implemented in China, farmers can purchase the car at a 10 percent discount, and carmakers only paying half of the vehicle acquisition tax.
