Toyota offers zero-percent financing for Crown, Camry in China

Toyota Motor began a zero-percent financing program in March in China, after President Akio Toyota apologized for vehicle defects in Beijing this week.

The Japanese automaker will start the program for its Crown sedan from March 10 to the end of April. The 2.4-liter Camry sedan will have one as well during March, and the program for the Camry may be extended further, said Hitoshi Yokoyama, a Toyota spokesman in Beijing.

Toyota recalled 75,552 RAV4 SUVs in China due to faulty gas pedals.
