Former Ford's global PR manager joins Geely

Xu Guozhen, the former Global PR manager of Ford and vice president of Ford (China) has joined Geely and will be in charge of Geely's global communication and brand promotion, according to news released by Geely Group on June 2, 2009 in Hangzhou.

"Geely is enhancing and optimizing its managing structure in order to build an internationalized team which will meet the need for global development producing excellent products," said Li Shufu, chairman of Geely Group, "Mr Xu is an expert on enterprise communication and brand promotion. This demonstrates that talents on different corners are recognizing Geely's bright future and would like to create a better tomorrow together."

Xu expressed great honor in joining Geely, which is one of China's top ten auto manufacturers and also among the country's top 500 firms.

"The achievement of chairman Li Shufu with Geely in the past ten years has been well recognized in the global auto industry and I hope I can contribute to this", said Xu.
