Researchers from the Chinese Academy of Sciences has traced the H7N9 avian influenza to a genetic reassortment of wild birds from east Asia and chickens from east China, Xinhua reported on April 11. Officials and experts have asked the public to remain calm, as there is still no evidence of human-to-human transmission.  Full text
