The Spanish Embassy in China hosted a National Day ceremony in Beijing on Friday. The Spanish Ambassador to China Rafael Dezcallar made a welcome speech. "Cultural and educational interactions are increasing. We are very satisfied with the fact that there are more and more Spanish people learning Chinese and Chinese people learning Spanish," Dezcallar said, adding that cooperation in sports has also grown. Ma Zhaoxu, vice foreign minister, also gave a speech in which he spoke about the historical achievements in bilateral ties.
