South Korean band BTS member Jimin

 Jimin, member of South Korean boy band BTS, won the applause of many Chinese netizens on Sunday as his dance videos and photos were posted and forwarded by hundreds of thousands of Chinese fans.

One video of Jimin, dressed in a white silk outfit, dancing by himself on stage proved particularity popular among Chinese netizens.

"Jimin is the only South Korean idol that I have continued following. He is like a fairy, flying around on the stage," one fan posted.

"My idol's dance skills are incomparable. He uses his soul to dance and shows his best side to us. We love you, Jimin," another fan wrote on Sina Weibo.

A video in which Chinese singer Lay Zhang can be seen taking Chinese actor Wang Yibo by the hand at the Sina Weibo Awards Ceremony on Saturday night has gone viral on China's Twitter-like Sina Weibo. 

In the video, Zhang shakes hands with Wang in greeting, and then takes Wang's right hand and leads him to the other side of the stage to make some space for an actress wearing a large formal dress. 

Many Chinese netizens admired Zhang for his kind help and called him a "gentleman."

"Lay is so warm-hearted! The most important thing is that it is so rare to see two idols walk hand-in-hand," one fan posted on Sina Weibo.

"Wang looks so adorable! He is like a child being guided by someone else," another netizen said.

Kenneth Ma

Chinese netizens congratulated actor Kenneth Ma and actress Kara Wai for their big wins at the TVB Awards held in the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region on Sunday night. 

Ma won Best Actor for his role in drama Big White Duel, while Wai took home the Best Actress award for her acting in drama The Defected.  

In a video on Sina Weibo, a look of disbelief crosses Ma's face upon hearing his name. 

"Kenneth finally got the award! He has been nominated 12 times. I cried when I saw him holding the trophy," one Chinese netizen commented on Sina Weibo.
