South Korea raises country's disease alert to 'highest' level

South Korea's President Moon Jae-in set the county's alert level against the COVID-19 to its "highest" in response to the confirmation of hundreds of additional confirmed cases over the weekend, according to Yonhap reports on Sunday. 

South Korea reported 123 more confirmed cases of COVID-19 and a fourth death on Sunday, local media reported.

This brings the total number of infections in the country to 556.
