Two police officers involved in handling "whistleblowers" Li Wenliang’s case were punished for dereliction of duty after Wuhan police revoked Li's reprimand following an investigation.  Li, one of the eight "whistleblowers" who tried to warn other medics of the coronavirus outbreak but was reprimanded by local police, died on Feb 7.
